Helping Lives Change Direction
Sometimes the only thing a person needs to take a new direction in life – a new job, finishing a college degree – is a way to get there.
Vehicles for Change, located on Washington Boulevard in Halethorpe, is a nonprofit organization that allows people to donate cars to help families in need.
“If you are a single mom trying to get kids to day care and trying to get to work on time, you just can’t do it with public transportation,” says Marty Schwartz, president of the organization.
